Tank Engine is the most Popular, and bound for Knock Offs

Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends was first brought into North America after its British debut in 1984. North America's version was "Shining Time Station". Thomas is available in almost every single country, and its no doubt as for this is a great and very educational children's TV show.

But since it is the most popular, at flea markets and dollar stores across the world, many knock offs are being sold; wooden models with the same face each, flashing chuffing toys, but the worst or on DinoDirect.com. They sell Thomas models from Alloy which are big Take N Play models with annoying sounds, evil looking faces, and wrong colours and wrong names (ex: instead of Harvey, Harevy). It's not doubt that Thomas' owner, HiT Entertainment are aware, but nothing seems to be done.

Still, make sure you buy licensed Thomas products, because the ones that aren't have not been tested and may be poisonous. Beware of Knock Offs.
